"like extruding your brain through a kaleidoscope" omg this is a very specific and also accurate feeling. I'm going very slowly because of my fatigue illness making complicated writing difficult, but enjoying it, but also I'm on ch 8, page 66, and kaleidoscope brain is v on point.

I don't think so, but in a good way! My greatest book reading regret was reading Dispossed within a couple of months of Left Hand of Darkness -- I felt I missed out in just marinating in "Left Hand" for what could have been months. I am gonna do it right and marinate in Bright Doors, for now.
