Huh. Found some people skeeting about the short in Spanish, and they liked it. Now, granted, "skeets in Spanish" != "Is from Mexico/South America", Spanish speakers aren't a monolith, etc, but... I don't feel so bad now.

When I went to see Scott Pilgrim in theatres with friends, there was a trailer for Devil by M Night Shyamalan. At the end of the trailer when his name appeared, the entire theatre of 20 something millennials laughed out loud because he was full on memed at that time.
