It's very useful for making lots of basic hats very quickly, and you can do fancier finishing than I have. I'd prefer to handknit them, but just don't have the time!

Spent the day making hats on my Addie Express circular knitting machine. I used up loads of leftovers and now have 9 additional hats to add to my charity hat pile!😍🧶

A pile of double-thickness hats in many sizes and many colours
The hats are double thick with a gathered crown and folded brim. They are lying on a chair. Top row: purple and light purple, 3 shades of red, turquoise, dark blue and light blue.
Bottom row: Light blue and light green, multicoloured striped self-patterning, red and pink, 2 shades of pink.

Make no mistake, Israel is looking to Lebanon with genocidal intent. We’ve seen the Israeli minister of education saying: “There is no difference between Hezbollah and Lebanon. Lebanon will be annihilated. It will cease to exist.” www.councilestatemedia.uk/p/netanyahu-...

Netanyahu is escalating his genocide to avoid the imminent ICC arrest warrants

He might yet drag us into a regional war

That is so kind, thank you! That cowl was such fun to choose colours for and a really absorbing knit!😍

#ShowMeYourKnits well, colourwork. Where do I start! It is my favourite knitting technique and the most fun to design. I do knit a lot of stranded! Most of my finished objects are small - hats, mittens, etc., but I do very much want to make a stranded vest as they always look so smart!

Swifts tam, two samples in grey on white and white on grey. Stranded colourwork motifs of birds flying towards the crown of the hat. The hats are lying on a stone floor.
Trellis tam. Pale blue background, deep russet pattern of an intricate trellis getting smaller as it approaches the centre of the crown.
A cowl blocking, featuring a deep corrugated rib and a stylised feather pattern. Worked in shades of grey, the cowl is flared to sit on the shoulders
Autumn Beech Tam. A colourful wheel of stylised beech leaves reflecting the colours seen in the common beech tree in autumn. From dark peaty brown twigs in the centre, through russet, pinky-orange and gold to green (not seen in this photo)

The IEA founded in 1955 by battery chicken farmer Anthony Fisher under the advice of Hayek, he warned that to keep the IEA's charity status intact their r/w agenda must never be disclosed publicly, as this would cause outrage and likely see the IEA being shut down en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Institu...
