What I love about anime is that long-running series always get non-canon movies made about them and I wish that was a thing with US television shows too. Like how awesome would it be if there was a random non-canon Breaking Bad movie in which Walt and Jesse saved Christmas.

For like seven years, multiple dudes are fighting over multiple women. And then suddenly, there's a Christmas episode where everyone was there partying. It's the best.

Seems like a valid replacement for the fly episode if budget wasn't the reason that episode exists in the first place.
