personal thing: making your character uber powerful / an angel or something for very little reason doesnt make them more interesting, it does the opposite for me tbh it just kinda takes me out of the rp / story unless the lore behind it is actually thought out and it's well hinted at

like the power itself is no issue as long as it's written into the character lore well one of my OC's is strong enough to stand up to a god (with help) but that's because of magic he inherited from his mothers bloodline & the journey he spent working with it, and even then he didn't quite 'win'
