Was it the subtle they/them-ing that libs do, or were they full-on he/him-ing a trans woman? My mom the did the they/them-ing when she was raving about it til I corrected her, despite her being otherwise pretty bad at using they/them. Libs don't even realize they do it and its endlessly frustrating.
