it was far more enjoyable as I feel like I know a lot more of the references, and its historical situatedness, and it was fun doing a read of it through my own current internalized philosophical framework, something I didn't feel I had as much of when I read it last (6 years ago?)

However, it puts so much effort in arguing against psychoanalytic theory, which is extremely irrelevant to the current theoretical or radical landscape - why I believe ATP to be a far better book. Still though, the critique of Oedipus as a social model still stands, even if psychoanalysis is dead.
