Some kids love it! We all have expectations of parenting style that end up surprisingly changing as we go, too, I think. Lots of new insights (and compassion... and perhaps... envy?) for parents on the street doing things you initially thought were strange or impractical ime.

We had a slightly late walker (14mo) so that wasn't our issue, but even so oh my goodness I could see the appeal! Especially on the way home from nursery, until they learned "freeze" and to keep their "good listening ears" on. Ooof.
