I was so wrapped up in how much I disdained Square Enix for poking around with NFT’s that I incidentally stood on business and kind of just went 🤷🏾‍♂️ when I heard Kingdom Hearts (one of my favorite games) was potentially ending and that Tetsuya Nomura was possibly retiring.

Very honestly, what is the point of killing your care for a series for something that the creators and even the direction of the series never showed even the slightest support for? how would boycotting something that has nothing to do with NFT's show that things like that were the problem?

I wouldn’t say it’s “easy” to boycott a corporation. But with Kingdom Hearts being so near and dear to me for so many years, I myself am a bit shocked by how I’m kind of just apathetic towards the game / franchise and the company at this point. It’s just bitter sweet to me now after all.
