Kotaku has been really really bad at news coverage for years. There's a reason Nintendo does not give them review codes for games anymore and almost all of the articles they have published have been sensationalist pieces that really only got rage clicks.

Yeah really started going downhill after Brian Crecente left. But still, after so many sales to people just unfamiliar with gaming and good journalism practices there’s just no hope for them to return to form.
