SOMA is my favorite horror game, very existential and dark tho so beware Talos Principle is great if you like mind bending puzzle games
Brütal Legend. :> It's one of those Tim Schaefer games that has a fun and interesting gameplay loop, featuring many of metal's icons, and a killer soundtrack to boot. Also has Tim Curry as the big bad! :D
Darkest dungeon, Ori, Portal and Evil Within are amazing
Oh man, I haven't played Dungeon Siege in a long time. Fun in an old-school Diablo kinda way tho.
Dead Space. Wonderfully entertaining game. The 2008 is good, the other version is much better

Ori and the Blind Forest or Stray Then the other of those two.
Ori is really fun! Portal and Portal 2 are also good choices!
