I know they're all just trying to play the standard game of not saying too much and representing the lesser of two evils, but it was still so depressing that the first question of the debates was "would you support Israel in a pre-emptive strike against Iran?" and the answer wasn't just "no."

You really didn't have to preface or qualify that one or talk about your humble upbringings! I think a simple "no" would've been the answer actual voters would've liked to hear.
