#10 Castlevania Symphony of the Night: played it for the first time this year! even though it's one of the pioneers of the genre, I think it still holds up fantastically well and is still one of the finest Metroidvanias, and the soundtrack is simply IMMACULATE, blessed be Michiru Yamane

#11 Fire Emblem Path of Radiance: another game that went straight into my all time favs after playing it for the first time this year! phenomenal story, characters, and world building, with the always engaging FE gameplay, even if this one is a bit on the easier side (also MIA IS THE GOAT!!!!!!)
