My pettiest joy in re: this first PWHL season is seeing Boston languishing near the bottom of the standings after all the various commentators were *so sure* they were gonna dominate the league coming out of the draft.

It's funny the commentators were saying this because if you asked the fans, we all thought the draft went horrible. On the one hand, Boston was one of the most important markets in the leagues that preceded the PWHL, their fans are reportedly fantastic, and they clearly care deeply about the sport and women's hockey in general. OTOH, fuck Boston sports and Boston sports fans now and forever. 🥰
