I would like to see the aforementioned study/paper, I'm not wholly convinced that a single, even large purifier could have such a substantial effect, but it seems broadly good and unlikely to have significant downsides.

Or there's a confounding variable and the purifiers had nothing to do with it.

i'm an adult insomniac with tinnitus and the air purifier hum makes it easier for me to sleep as well. doesn't fix the insomnia, but the sound it makes masks my tinnitus, and it's a lot easier to fall asleep when your ears aren't ringing.

Still like the fact that my employer got a bunch of really good air purifiers (and other recommendations from Abdul El-Sayed, who they retained for a while) during the pandemic and has kept them in the offices and brings them when we do internal conventions.

We got air purifiers for our home two June's ago and the difference on our health has been noticeable. If purifying the air at school would become the standard, I can't even imagine how much better it would be.
