What feels real is that right now there's a sort of "densification -> crime gets worse -> backlash" cycle in the US that pushes densities down. e.g. Bay Area neighborhoods not wanting BART stations because they very visibly increase public disorder around them

It seems good to be able to credibly promise that those fears are unwarranted
