everyone stop discoursing or whatever, i need to talk about ska and how most of you only know a goofy whitewashed version of it instead of the decades of history of it as a radical movement for racial unity and empowerment

hey vi have i mentioned my friends/all time favourite local band chewie? they don't really play ska anymore but a lot of their older songs still hold up, I think!
Honestly all black originated music forms can fit with this; ska, reggae, hip hop, funk, blues, jazz, I could go on
also, reggae comes from ska, not the other way around
