It does genuinely worry me when society expects men to just bottle shit up and be tough. I always tell my partner to express themselves, whether they're happy, sad, whatever. Normalize expressing your emotions around your friends and family so you're not a walking bottle rocket.

As a man, I don’t bottle things up. I just regulate my emotions and handle my problems. Women typically use a man’s emotions against him or our emotions makes a woman upset and we have to deal with that. Either way, just better to avoid sharing especially with women.
