What's getting an ID like? It can be a hassle if you don't drive in the US since a license is the most common form?

You can get an ID that's basically the same thing as a drivers' license, just without the license part fairly easy, iirc. Unless things have changed. I had a couple friends who did that in university. Because they wanted to get into bars but they didn't drive.
