I’ve lived both ways as an adult, and while this might be true for a majority of people, I’m here to tell you I’ll take the inconveniences of cohousing over those of a single-family home in a second if I had the option.

if I could live with other people without them constantly tearing me down for being disabled I would be into it, but my experience with cohousing as a messy adhd person was largely traumatic. I don't need another round of people calling me useless and lazy and disgusting cause of my disability
