This is very true! I’ve thought about what if Israel didn’t start war criming right after 10/7.. they would have had not just total support from the western world, but many Arab nations were already leaning towards Israel, they could have used this to their diplomatic advantage..

While also not really being at risk for more attack. Israel clearly can defend itself from Hamas w/o invading Gaza, they had a security failure that can be corrected.

Much like the US response to 9/11, a reasonable approach is just unimaginable to people in power. Someone has to hurt.
