I've noticed issues of misogyny in the furry community get treated as a case of AFABs vs AMABs, apparently under the assumption that trans women don't face misogyny because it's just a costume.

Like, the times I've tried to argue I face this oppression (and I'm perfectly willing to admit I'm more privileged than most due to not having had surgery) I get accused of wanting to face misogyny. Which feels just like a familiar strain of transmisogyny.
