A thread on some different archival reading room hours. In NZ you can theoretically get in 5 hours a day at Archives NZ in Wellington if happy to skip lunch (open 10am-3pm, Mon-Fri).
In Auckland, Christchurch and Dunedin you’ll be gone by lunchtime (open 9am-1pm, Mon-Fri). www.archives.govt.nz/research-gui...
Yeah, good luck if you live regionally and have to travel in. And they still haven't fixed their appalling Archway replacement.
