There are currently three great horned owls right outside the house just hooting away. It's pretty cool to hear, but I also need them to stop because I've got work early in the morning.
Eastward has got such a unique tone, ya know? Sure the dialougue can be very slow and the story has a lot of weird narrative issues after the first few chapters, but the combat and puzzles are decent and, again, the tone is so distinct that I can't help but appreciate it.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is just really fun. The exploration and weapon/armor customization are probably my favorite parts, but one can easily be absorbed by the wide variety of item synthesis and overall gothic atmosphere.
Probably my one true guilty pleasure, but Hamtaro: Ham-Ham Heartbreak is so stinking cute! I loved Hamtaro as a kid and owned a good chunk of merch back then, so obviously I had to have at least one game and it ended up being very pleasant.
Better safe than sorry.
Kid Icarus: Uprising may be the most played 3DS title in my collection. Despite the iffy control scheme, the game is still very fun. The characters and dialougue even more so. Hopefully one day it'll get a remake with better controls, because more people need to play it.
Let's start with one of my all time favorites, The World Ends with You. This game is just amazing when it comes to gameplay, story, characters, setting, and music. It successfully makes use of every feature (and screen) on the DS to make a unique experience that I can't recommend more.

It always irked me that I could never find this game when it first came out. Really hope it gets rereleased one day because $100 is way too much.
