My latest poem, "Invisible Inferno,” is an emotionally raw exploration of isolation and how social media can prevent one from feeling that one belongs if one is ‘different.’ Read and if it resonates with you, share. #Poetry#Neurodiversity#MentalHealthAwareness

🧪 🍎 When you encounter a young person, introduce them to Lucretius' De Rerum Natura... ... and now they possibly love it even more than you do 😍🥰 #Philosophy#Lucretius#Latin#Epicureanism#Poetry#Physics#AtomicTheory#QuantumPhysics#Cosmology#UniverseOrigins#MustRead#ClassicBooks

Photo of a book with a red cover and a black geometric pattern on a white background skirting around the border. The Loeb Classical Library has reproduced it. The book, of course, is Lucretius "On the nature of things". It was translated by W. H. D. Rouse and revised by Martin F. Smith.

It is just a photo off the internet as they still have my copy!!

In other news, I will see if I can find my copies of the "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" film series DVDs. #MHDSRIP

Is it just me, or is posting an article about using "weasel words" in your resume/CV not hit as hard when you advertise that x is "in your DNA" on your company website? #Generic#Meaningless#Pointless#Cliche

Knowing I am not feeling well, my new rescue Badger, attempts to cheer me up by cosplaying my favourite Dr Who. You never forget your first Dr. #Caturday#DrWho#TheFourthDoctor#TomBaker#Cats#RescueCat#BBC#LivingWithCats#TuxedoCat#AdoptDontShop

The image shows Badger, a striking black and white medium-long haired tuxedo cat, sitting on what appears to be a pink or salmon-colored blanket with a white pattern.

The cat's fur is predominantly black, with a distinctive white patch on its chest that extends up to its chin, giving the classic "tuxedo" appearance. The face is mostly black, with a small white marking on the nose, creating a charming contrast. The cat has alert, wide-open bright green eyes that stand out against its dark fur.

His whiskers are long and prominent, extending outwards from its black face. Badger’s ears are perked up and facing forward, indicating attentiveness.

The fur appears to be soft and fluffy, especially noticeable around the neck and chest area where it forms a white ruff.

Adding a whimsical touch to his appearance is a colorful accessory draped around his neck. This appears to be a scarf but is actually a chase toy. He is exceptionally well groomed and confident, looking directly at camera.
