Wow, today I learned! I've spent plenty of time at Sainsbury's but never picked that up.

You might have noticed British e-commerce websites tend to say 'add to basket' rather than 'add to cart'. Often it is a cart because we're used to it from US-based sites, and it's never 'add to trolley'. Incidentally British people would normally think of a cart as something being pulled by a horse.
