I would say it's a bit more complicated than that. Yes, northern European food is mediocre at best, and the cultures they created through colonization aren't better. Yes, Black-influenced Southern food is great. But there are other great American cuisines: some indigenous, some from cultural mixing.

There's Mexican cuisine, available in the Southwest, and it's amazing, even if most of the country thinks of Taco Bell. There's the indigenous cuisine of the coastal peoples of the Pacific Northwest, with their planked salmon. And then there's the amazing cuisines developed by other immigrants.

It's not "Black-Inspired" Southern food. Southern food is Black food.
