Date: Spring 1926. Location: 54°21'24" N, 10°08'56" E. Event: German light cruiser Amazone is getting prepared for a 2-month long training cruise for naval cadets around the Mediterranean. Current status: Scrapped in 1954-55, lifespan of 56 years.
Date: June 09, 1942. Location: 21°21'12" N, 157°57'28" W. Event: Refloated on May 17, USN battleship West Virginia is entering dry dock of the Pearl Harbor Navy Yard for inspections and 3-month long initial repairs. Current status: Scrapped in 1961-62, lifespan of 42 years.
