When Doris Kirks confidently strode into the pool hall 2 ½ years ago, Carl W. Kruse took notice. What started as some friendly competition around the pool table, led to the couple eventually forming a connection and gradually falling in love. “I finally decided to tell him ‘yes,’” Kirks said.
