I hope they’re checking for Covid, since following the jump to humans, dogs seem like a potential vector. I know they found a bacteria, but that could still be a red herring.

Hopefully shouldn't be a next pandemic.

Could be dogfood if it contains potatoes? Using green potatoes to produces mash included in dogfood? If so, those green potatoes have likely contained solanin, which is poisonous.
