In 2022, about 17.7 million people reported daily or near-daily marijuana use, compared with 14.7 million people who reported drinking at the same frequency, according to a new study.
The increase in marijuana use is “striking,” said the report in the journal Addiction, using data from the National Survey on Drug Use and Health.
