Now that Biden has immunity he can do the world a massive favor. He won't, but it's nice to dream.

It's hard not to see this decision as a brazen invitation for Trump or one of his minions to belly his way into office and never leave. Steve Bannon must have been laughing all the way to Danbury after it was released. Victory at last.

By the plain meaning of the court's decision, Biden could literally declare Trump a domestic terrorist based on Jan 6 or the dozens of the threatening statements he's made and have him assassinated as a threat to national security. Biden won't do that, but who knows what Trump might do.
