Former president Donald Trump spoke by phone this week with a Nebraska state senator as part of a last-minute push to change how the state allocates its electoral votes and block the easiest path Vice President Kamala Harris has to win the White House.
Nebraska is one of two states that award some of its electoral votes by congressional district. A vote from the Omaha area is part of Harris’s easiest path to victory.
Wasn't changing election rules right before an election (because of a world-wide pandemic, and, at that time, way before the election, but...) what they whined about in 2020? But now they want to do it?
Cheaters. They know that they will never again get more votes than the Democratic candidate. They are trying to delay because they know if Trump gets back into office our democracy is over and the next election will just be for show.

I didn't even consider this sort of underhanded possibility, this late. That said, it's unclear Trump is even going to win Maine's 2nd district, so if so, he'd also need to convince (blue) Maine to change as well to stop a PA-MI-WI Harris win.
My question is how does a civilian have the power to do this. Conservatives should be ashamed of their blind subservience. They deserve to be publicly shamed on every level.
