And often, that can lead to disappointment. The good thing is that the viewer/reader etc won't know your original vision that you may compare it to.

Disliking what you create is always somewhat part of the process I think. In that regard, it helps me to realize, that, when you begin working on something, in the end it will always be different than what you envisioned. Sometimes VASTLY different. Especially when you work on something for long.

Yep that's also the approach I am going for. I think Duo works great to get to know the grammar and basics of communication (and how it keeps you refreshing what you already know), but at some point it's important to immerse yourself with the language by consuming media that works for you

Are you using a certain app to learn it? I started learning Czech last year and decided for Duolingo. Boy that owl is absolutely brutal lol
