film hired fem dir, DP, writers, actors, atty, post super, edt etc. all 50+. Most brilliant Film aces Bechdel test. Yes male actors & supportive producers. Yet not biz of show nor press cared re: women—as achievement, marketing angle, whatev. (Not the neg narr) What matters is on the screen.
