disorienting that my days are spent dealing with local politics which I cannot find any trustworthy news about while my nights are spent being inundated by the very fine details of global events that i cannot exert any individual influence to meaningfully participate in.

I do try to focus on controlling what I can control, some days are better than others. I feel this!
