Yep!! Stage 1A borderline B bc of how big the mass was. I was also part of a (different) clinical trial, but I got the standard care. It wrapped up this year and they learned that the extra med didn't make a difference from standard care

Family was a struggle. I wasn't disowned or anything, just disappointed them. 15 years later, (& over the course of time) things did get better. They accept me and my wife as we are. But I want to tell you that it does get better. You as you are, are good enough. You are loved.
When I graduated, I left for college & started interacting with a diverse community. I finally had the courage to come out in the fall of '08, my Sr year. My friends immediately accepted me with no questions or judgement. I finally felt free to be who I was meant to be
