Such an important part of the job is to nurture young readers. I was a school librarian for 20 wonderful years. Finding and providing the right book for every child, and then another and another. Introducing different genres and formats, fiction and nonfiction. What could be better?

Why do you make your art? If it is your profession as well as your passion you have to care what your customers want. Otherwise it is solely your decision and nobody else's opinion matters. Love what you do, do what you love.
