On a more serious note, this happened to me and I found that as I went through the writing process, the game started to take a different shape than its peer. I know it's not always possible to justify the amount of time and effort to write an entire game when something else fills that niche -

- but I think sometimes its worth trying anyway, just to see if the game surprises you!
