this Zelda game is awesome, and exploring "The Depths" is maybe my favorite thing in any Zelda game, but I really wish NPCs would shut their dang yaps. they could say as much with a quarter of the dialogue.

my wife bought me Tears of the Kingdom, and good golly I love end-of-generation games that get everything they can out of a console. I may be the only person in the world who's charmed by dropped frames and aliasing- as long as it's not only due to bad optimization. long live outdated hardware.
