I cannot find any evidence that Brenda Howard was as key in the creation of Pride as we have been led to believe. This does not mean she wasn't. Misogyny and biphobia may play a part in minimising her role. But there's just nothing supporting the claim that's rigid enough to hang your hat on.

We could really do with some archive digging to find out once and for all. Brenda's partner is thankfully still with us, so that's another route. I want to be really clear. I came into this research with an agenda. I don't want to be wrong. But what if I am?
