People like this are scum. Assuming this is even a person and not a bot. An artist friend ended up having to deal with something similar when a bot tried to phish for his PayPal by pretending to commission him, and then sending a fake PayPal email to "require verification for the payment"

I’ve seen that scam a few times myself
