…and these are just the ones REPORTED (because they had to be by law). I honestly think the actual number is some order of magnitude worse.
This is why Unions are important. And Work councils.

Is there a good resource for tracking the total number of jobs in the industry over time? I’d be interested in comparing the layoff numbers with the overall trend. My impression is that in recent years the number of jobs has gone way up.
