A nation that witnesses a mass horror event over the course of years and years with barely any attention, isn't likely to behave well under a black female president conducting those actions. Fortunately for our plucky little nation, the people here are well taken care of and totally unarmed.

I'm not being a doomer here. I'm simply observing material realities. Climate change won't stop creating refugees from the global south. Police won't stop raping and murdering. She won't make the hurricanes smaller, or houseless people any less murdered by the state. And this has consequences.
