Crow Fest!! I’m outside Tsuga Fine Art and Framing until 5pm today! Bringing lots of cyan crows to the party!

Do you like crows? Do you like fests? If so, you will probably really like CROW FEST. I will be there with crow prints I have made in honor of the corvids who rule the greater Seattle area! It’s in downtown Bothell, WA today and tomorrow, 10/4-10/5!

Heyyyyy so if you’re an employee in the city of Seattle, your employer has to display this poster where you can see it, or otherwise provide it to you! They must give you this information about your rights as a worker, including minimum wage and paid sick time. I have learned this and wish to share!

A poster listing worker protections in the city of Seattle, including that minimum wage is $19.97/hour unless you’re a tipped employee of a small company, in which case it’s $17.25. Also, you’re entitled to accrue and use sick leave at a minimum rate of 1 hour for every 40 hours worked, or 1 for every 30 hours worked if your employer has more than 250 employees.

Nudibranch question! Does…anyone know what is happening here? This looks to me like a shag-rug nudibranch, but it’s encased in some sort of smooth slime. I looked up pictures of egg-laying and doesn’t appear to be that. It doesn’t look like other shag-rug nudibranchs I’ve seen out of the water.

What appears to be a nudibranch encased in…some sort of whitish slime? Attached to a piece of green sea lettuce algae.

Ballard Art Walk is on, but I had to drop out of Artist Attic at the last second because I’m just not physically up to my full outdoor setup. Teach me to burn the candle at both ends, I suppose.
