oops, I should have double checked the timeline before starting it! I bought both on the same day. That's fine, The High Republic (and all of Star Wars) has conditioned me to learn stories out of order.
Gonna finish reading Beware the Nameless later today and then start Tears of the Nameless! Very excited.
It's out on everything! It's very queer! It's genuinely funny, with great voice acting! Listen to the "We Are OFK" EP on Spotify - if you like the music, you'll probably dig the game, which tells the story behind each track, across 5 episodes.
Breaking the "no explanation" rule here to point out that GBA emulation was working BEFORE the GBA ever came out! I played this game on an old Pentium 4 (maybe P III?) PC when it came out. Torrented from Limewire over a 56k modem, probably.
Does demo progress save or is it a standalone thing? I am feeling the same way - definitely think I'll love it but don't have time for it at launch. Will wait to catch it the first time it's on sale.
