in addition to the other products, there's been a ton of really great things written in Rust that have made their way into the python ecosystem too. Ruff, uv, pydantic, polars, the list goes on.

I have observed rust from a distance. I am happy to have done so. It is possible this observance has made me a more effective programmer. But only thanks to its distance.
