Gone are any cute posts about my day to day. Too many details can be deduced about my pattern of life that bad actors can use to track me. Also, these jerks have said horrible things about my baby (eg “wut no abortion?!”) and pets.

I feel this in my bones. I’ve changed a lot about how I interact with the world due to my extended knowledge of cybersecurity and experiences with harassment and stalking behaviors. All of it definitely has an impact on how we interact with the world around us, in person and online.

The Daily Mail even printed pictures of my dog and cat, for reasons I’ve yet to figure out. Obviously we aren’t sharing pictures of our kid online, to his grandparents’ dismay. But I’m jealous of those who can and do.
