“the richest people have collectively decided that the mass adoption of genAI will be beneficial to their companies’ bottom lines & that it does not matter how people use it or what they use it for, so long as we use their mass plagiarism devices for anything at all” www.404media.co/hurricane-he...

Back in 2018 I wrote a piece for a British architecture magazine about the state of the UK's public libraries. Not good. So many austerity causalties. I just brushed up for this current project. Holy hell. It just keeps getting worse. The Conservatives have sabotaged the UK's public institutions.

Meanwhile, conservatism in another guise — austerity — has deeply wounded the UK’s libraries: since the Conservatives came to power in 2010, the country has lost roughly 800 council-supported institutions. Such brilliant thinking around use of AI in this set of prototypes. AI being foregrounded and backgrounded, engaged fully and limited as a support act in specific ways. Watch the films if you can and have a look at these www.watershed.co.uk/studio/proje...

Sending love and respect to everyone affected by the #grenfell fire and especially by the report coming out today. You had to wait so long for this, and still more. May we rapidly build and enforce new standards for people in social and rented housing.

I’d love to see Monica Dolan and Stephen Dillane in Macbeth. There’s a pairing of actors who menace and sizzle with fury together. #sherwood
