You'd think "Britain's Toughest Headteacher" would understand that doing things to get people to stop misbehaving only encourages more bad behaviour

The thing that gets me about this argument is that I don't think I've ever voted in an election for a candidate who has won, and the coalition is the only time the party I've voted for has got into power. I don't get to go rioting because I'm not getting my way.

"I hate Muslims & assume black people with foreign names are Muslims, and I love hurting people & destroying stuff" doesn't seem like it'd be something a change in immigration policy is going to fix, for sure. For one thing, there'll still be people whose parents emigrated living in the UK.
